Library of Desires — Definition

A growing repository of human wanting

The Library of Desires is a growing catalog of human desires.

It exists to collect, organize, and offer guided frameworks for the many things people want — across everyday life, emotions, relationships, work, money, health, joy, rest, and meaning.

Humans are always wanting something.
When one desire is met, another appears.
This forward movement is part of being human.

The Library of Desires was created to meet that wanting with clarity and structure.

What the Library of Desires Is

The Library of Desires is a repository of desire-based pages, each focused on one specific desire.

Each page gives you a simple, guided framework you can use to work with what you want — whether that desire is practical, emotional, personal, or aspirational.

The Library includes desires such as:

• financial stability
• peace and contentment
• relationships and family harmony
• fitness and vitality
• rest and relief
• adventure and joy
• beauty and self-expression
• work, opportunity, and growth
• shared human hopes like peace and well-being

Some desires are specific.
Some are broad.
Some are quiet.
Some are ambitious.

All are part of the human experience.

What You’ll Find in Each Desire Page

Every desire page in the Library follows a consistent format so it’s easy to use.

Each page includes:

Manifestation tips related to that desire
• A short visualization script
• An explanation of how the desire works with OneBreathIn
• A clear breakdown of the mechanics of the practice
• A pro tip to help you apply it in daily life

Each page is designed to give you structure when you’re not sure how to focus, imagine, or move forward with what you want.

You can read a page once, return to it, or use it as a repeat practice.

How to Use the Library of Desires

You can explore the Library in several ways:

• search for a desire directly
• browse by category labels
• scroll and choose what resonates

Some people come looking for something specific.
Others discover desires they didn’t realize they were carrying.

Both are natural.

There is no order and no finish line.

A Growing Library

The Library of Desires continues to grow.

New desire pages are published every Thursday.

Over time, the Library expands to reflect:

• common human needs
• seasonal and cultural moments
• practical goals and inner states
• desires people may not have words for yet

The goal is to catalog as many meaningful human desires as possible and continue adding to them.

Suggesting a Desire

The Library welcomes suggestions.

If there is a desire you don’t see, you can suggest it using the contact widget located at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar on the website.

Suggested desires are reviewed and, when aligned, scheduled for publication.

Some suggestions may also be published as additional posts outside the regular Thursday schedule.

This helps the Library grow beyond what we alone might think to include.

Sharing the Library

If you find a desire page that feels helpful, you’re encouraged to share it with friends, family, or loved ones.

Sometimes the right framework at the right moment is enough to help someone move forward.
